There was no winter to speak of this year here on the Front Range so we made the best of yet another beautiful blue sky afternoon on the Riverside patio. Was it the best SHIMMY so far? (I feel that way every time.) Yet this time was a touch different as tickets sold out a couple of days before the party, creating a bit of a frenzy. In the end, most everyone got in that came early or late. There were a record number of birthdays and the celebratory vibe was high.
Cheeks opened the party and got everyone on the dance floor. We took a small break to recognize the birthdays then iam_Anne kicked off with a high energy set of old school and new tracks mixed especially for our 5-0 birthday girl Jaime. Bounce (a returning fav) took over and kept the energy at such a joyous level that the dance floor was full until the very end when we sighed a collective "awwwwwww" when the music finally stopped.
