NEEDMORE enjoys sharing music with those who love to dance. The appeal of DJing has always been the power to move people (literally and figuratively) by creating sonic spaces that unite people in community and movement.
Playing drums and singing in bands, gave way to spinning vinyl DJ sets, to becoming an audio engineer, then a video editor, to VJing (projection mapping) festivals and clubs, and most recently... full circle back to DJing.
NEEDMORE's journey as a DJ began with a pair of turntables, a 2-channel mixer, and a well curated record store nearby. Within a few years of collecting a heavy helping of vinyl, controllers with laptops took over the DJ scene. After numerous gigs playing house parties, museum events, pop-ups, a wedding, outdoor events, burns, and even an erotic ball, his focus shifted. DJing became more sporadic and a shift to VJing as LAMBENT VISUALS took him to new, yet related areas of creative expression.
In 2023 after organizing a successful first DJ afterparty, a burning desire to get back on the decks and share music was relit. A dozen successful parties have now come and gone since then, with each event more crowded and more fun than the last.
NEEDMORE's musical tastes are diverse and any type of music that can move people is fair game. With a deep relationship to varied genres, he crafts a mood and a musical journey to fit most any event. (Sorry, no weddings.) Want to make some fun happen? Let's create a little joy together and dance!
