There was no winter to speak of this year here in the west, so we made the best of yet another beautiful blue sky afternoon on the Riverside patio. Was it the best SHIMMY so far? Well... I feel that way after every party. Yet this time was a touch different as TICKETS SOLD OUT a few of days before the event, creating a bit of a frenzy. In the end, most everyone got in that came out. There were a record number of birthdays and the celebratory vibe was off the charts.
CHEEKS opened the party and got everyone out on the dance floor. We took a small break to recognize the birthdays, then IAM_ANNE kicked off her set with some old school and new tracks mixed especially for our 5-0 birthday girl Jaime. BOUNCE (a returning fav) took over the decks and kept the energy at such a joyous level that the dance floor was full until the very end when we sighed a collective "awwwwwww" when the music finally stopped.
