There seem to be a lot of us with a love for day parties where people gather, dance, hang out, and express joy. The Shimmy Series is my attempt to stir up more of what I love, here in Boulder, Colorado.

I've helped others throw parties for years, yet in 2023 after finding a willing partner in The Riverside, it was time to try throwing a party myself. It went quite well and everyone asked for more. The first Shimmy happened in April of 2024 and we have curated a number of parties since then. As long as people keep showing up and asking for more, we'll oblige.

Big thanks to the amazing array of DJs, volunteers, and music lovers that have helped make each party a shining success! I couldn't do it without you! This year we want to make more music and dance with you, so please join us for the 2025 Shimmy Series. See you on the dance floor!
